Rhythm on the River is brought to you by Connect Powdersville, an organization dedicated to making Powdersville a better place to live, work, and play by supporting community-wide events and advocating for new spaces to enrich its legacy for future generations.

Items not allowed in the park include:
- Pets
- Grills/Tailgating
- Aerosol cans
- Coolers
- Picnic baskets
- Fireworks
- Illegal drugs
- Laser pens and pointers
- Noise-making devices
- Outside food and beverage
- Video or recording devices
- Weapons
- Other items that may be deemed inappropriate or dangerous in the park
The ROTR event begins at 12 noon and ends at 8pm. Parking attendants will begin parking event attendees at 11:45am.
KidsZone will be open from 12pm to 8pm for kids up to 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Please follow the signs to accessible parking as you enter Dolly Cooper Park. A state-issued license plate or a state-issued placard for people who have a disability is required and must be visible to police and parking attendants.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located at the main entrance. Please follow the directions of the parking staff and volunteers.
ID is REQUIRED for 100% of event guests who wish to purchase alcoholic beverages.
This is South Carolina state law.
Coolers and picnic baskets are NOT allowed inside the park.
Food and beverages will be available throughout the park by food trucks and/or beer trucks. Outside food is NOT allowed. Alcoholic beverages will be served from 12pm to 7:30pm.
Pets are NOT allowed in the park with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities. South Carolina ESA Public Access Laws for emotional support animals and service dogs follow federal laws. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), under Title II and Title III of the ADA, emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs aren’t considered service animals and don’t have the same rights to public access.
The first aid station is located at the top of the hill, opposite of the stage. If you need immediate assistance, please notify a volunteer or security to call Emergency Medical Services personnel.
Portable restrooms (including accessible restrooms) and handwashing stations are located behind the KidsZone and the Food Trucks.

Lawn chairs and blankets are permitted.
Overnight parking is not recommended. Vehicles parked overnight are left at the owner’s risk and may be subject to towing.
Smoking is NOT allowed in the park.
Strollers are allowed at the event.
Personal umbrellas are allowed in the park.
#ROTRPVL will take place rain or shine unless the Anderson County Emergency Management Division calls for a cancellation due to forecasted lightning or lightning strikes during event hours. Please visit Rhythm on the River Facebook Event Page for more information.
Drones are NOT allowed except for those used by the official event photographer.
Representatives will be available at the Command Center Tent, located near the main entrance. If you need assistance or have concerns during your visit, please look for volunteers in the BLUE #ROTRPVL STAFF T-shirts!
All lost and found inquiries should be directed to the Command Center. After the event, guests may email admin@connectpowdersville.com to inquire about lost items. After 30 days, all unclaimed lost and found items will be given to charity.
